Everybody's Theatre Company - our name says a lot about us - everybody who wants a part (on stage or back stage) gets a part. That's because our passion is inclusive, community-engaged theatre that's as much about community development as it is about theatre. Founder Dale Colleen Hamilton, along with a customized professional theatre team, collaborate with communities to tell their own stories and build community spirit, which in turn can (and demonstrably has) led to dramatic positive changes in communities.
Dale's latest project uses a different kind of engagement. Her newly created one-woman 30-minute show (She Won't Come in from the Fields) engages audiences in a facilitated post-performance conversation, focussing on concrete local actions regarding regenerative food production, food security and climate solutions. Dale recently received a Canada Council for the Arts travel grant to tour this show across Canada, including the far north.
