Everybody's Theatre Company - our name says a lot about us - everybody who wants a part (on stage or back stage) gets a part. That's because our passion is inclusive, community-engaged theatre that's as much about community development as it is about theatre. Founder Dale Colleen Hamilton, along with a customized professional theatre team, collaborate with communities to tell their own stories and build community spirit, which in turn can (and demonstrably has) led to dramatic positive changes in communities.
Dale's latest project uses a different kind of engagement. Her newly created one-woman 50-minute show (The Gardener & the Golfer) engages audiences in a facilitated post-performance conversation, focussing on concrete local actions regarding regenerative food production, food security and climate solutions. Dale received a Canada Council for the Arts travel grant to tour this show across Canada, including the far north. More recently Dale received an unsolicited donation from the Soil Conservation Council of Canada.

Dale comes from a 5-generations-deep farm family and homesteads on her 16 acres near Guelph, Ontario. After a 45-year break from university, Dale went back to get her Masters in Environmental Studies at York U, where she focussed her research on regenerative farming. Dale has also been writing and producing community-engaged theatre for over forty years, including a play that sparked a movement to stop a rural estate housing development on her family’s original farm. Most recently she has written and is touring with a one-woman show about regenerative farming and soil health, with financial support from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Soil Champions Committee of the Soil Conservation Council of Canada. She has performed her one-woman show in every province, plus the Yukon and NWT. She also performed for the Senate of Canada in Ottawa in 2025 and in Glasgow Scotland during the COP 26 UN Climate Change Summit.
